Totus Tuus 2022

Walking Pilgrimage

From June 5-11, our missionaries began their Totus Tuus journey with a week-long walking pilgrimage to Martyr's Shrine. Together, they braved sun, rain, aches and pain to reach their destination and built strong friendships along the way.

Training & Formation

Totus Tuus has been called the “toughest summer that you will ever love.”

Our missionaries are asked to challenge themselves this summer to be flexible, patient, and loving with every person they encounter – teammates, host families, parish staff/contacts, volunteers, priests, students and themselves. It is a time to be stretched, to be strengthened, to grow spirituality and emotionally, and to intentionally discern your vocation.

Commissioning Mass

“The eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain to which Jesus had ordered them. When they saw him, they worshiped, but they doubted. Then Jesus approached and said to them, ‘All power in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, until the end of the age.‘” Matthew 28:16-20

On June 30, our missionaries were commissioned by His Eminence Cardinal Collins at St. Michael Cathedral in Toronto to “go forth and make disciples of all nations.” Please continue to offer up prayers for our Totus Tuus missionaries as they journey with and minister to our young people this summer.
